Killing the Holy Spirit – Prophetic Vision June 27, 2020

This prophetic nightmare is a message to the church universal about how – in these end times – many of us are killing (squelching) the Holy Spirit in our services and in those that walk in the Spirit during our church services and daily lives.

Other prophetic visions I’ve had that come from God: https://robertwimer.com/category/prophecy/

“Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 1 Timothy 1:6-7 NKJV

I’m going to say something rather controversial with regard to the Saved person by Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. There are many that are truly saved, BUT DO NOT have the Holy Spirit living inside of them. I was like this for years after I was saved, argued against the speaking of tongues as evidence and that I immediately had the Holy Spirit after my confession of faith, but I was wrong.

When you read the book of Acts, you begin to see EVIDENCE that you have the Spirit on the inside, namely, the speaking of tongues after hands had been laid. Most of the time, the 2nd baptism (water being the first – and that is crucial) is done with the laying on of hands by a Christian immediately after water baptism – the saved individual, having made his/her confession and being baptized in water, has the Holy Spirit given to them. SPEAKING IN TONGUES IS EVIDENCE! To be sure, the Spirit can also “fall” on a person, or even a group (Acts 10:44-46), but mainly happens with the laying on of hands.

I know that Christians will say that they have the Spirit after their confession of faith and will cite the passages below as evidence:

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” ~1 Corinthians 6:19-20 | NIV

“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” ~Ephesians 4:30 | NIV

“Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”” ~Acts 2:38 | NIV

To be sure, these passages are correct – BUT THEY APPLY AFTER THE BAPTISM and after the Spirit has made His home in you.

I believe that a big problem with Biblical confusion and why different sets of Christians have wildly different interpretations about passages is most likely due to the fact that some, or most, are working without the Spirit in them. You can’t have an understand of the Word of God without the Holy Spirit inside of you:

“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” ~John 14:26 | NIV

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” ~1 Corinthians 2:12,14 NKJV

I know this is a big proclamation that many within the faith will not agree with, and that is your choice, but scriptural evidence found in the book of Acts would counter your beliefs.

Speaking in tongues as evidence of being baptized by the Holy Spirit: Acts 2:4,11 10:46 19:6

2 sets of baptizes as foundational principles of our faith: Hebrews 6:1-3 (the plural of “baptisms” should be an indicator)
