B.J. Thomas Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head

Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head | Day 309

Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head, a proper song for a very rainy walk to work.

B.J. Thomas Raindrops Keep Falling On My HeadRaindrops Keep Falling On My Head by B.J. Thomas is a happy little tune that I decided to do while it was pouring down rain on my way to work,..or should I say, just before I walked out.

I printed off the lyrics and put my valuables in plastic bags in the pockets of my raincoat.  I even had an extra pair of pants in a bag because I know I was going to get soaked.  As soon as I got ready, the rain let up to a very light sprinkle.  If that wasn’t enough, a kind man offered me a ride.  He asked me if I was needed a lift to work, to which my replay was “no, just to the overpass please as I have to sing for today.”  I’m sure he thought I was odd and I hope that he knew what I was doing for the last several months, otherwise, he might have thought me a loon.  As I was starting, another group stopped by while I was under the overpass and asked me if I needed a lift.  I told them the same thing, they paused and said “ok”.  It’s good that there are kind people out there that are willing to lend aid to an odd duck like me.

Only 56 days left…

Lyrics:

Raindrops are falling on my head
And just like the guy whose feet
Are too big for his bed
Nothing seems to fit
Those raindrops
Are falling on my head
They keep falling.

So I just did me some
Talking to the sun
And I said I didn’t like the way
He got things done
Sleeping on the job
Those raindrops
Are falling on my head
They keep fallin’

But there’s one thing I know
The blues they send to meet me
Won’t defeat me, it won’t be long
Till happiness
Steps up to greet me

Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn’t mean my eyes
Will soon be turning red
Crying’s not for me ’cause,
I’m never gonna stop the rain
By complaining,
Because I’m free
Nothing’s worrying me

It won’t be long
Till happiness
Steps up to greet me

Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn’t mean my eyes
Will soon be turning red
Crying’s not for me cause,
I’m never gonna stop the rain
By complaining,
Because I’m free, ’cause nothing’s worrying me
