“Unforgettable”, a song performed by Nat King Cole so many years ago will, for me, always be associated with one person, my father.
Unforgettable was a song introduced to me a long time ago, in passing, by my dad. He commented on how much he loved Nat King Cole’s voice, how it was so smooth. It’s funny how a single sentence uttered by my father can have such a long lasting impression on a young boy and it gives me great pleasure to do this song for him. My dad has another song he loves, “Crazy”, by Patsy Cline. I’ll be doing that one down the road, but tonight’s song was a nice thing to do under the overpass. This whole experience will be an unforgettable one.
