How Great Is Our God, is a song that I hadn’t heard until a few weeks ago. It’s a great piece with a great message.
How great is our God, seems like an honest question. For me, and I can only speak to that end, God is great, but there are some days where He is greater than others. I know that for some Christians reading this, my statement reeks of a rebellious and disrespectful ideology. There are days where my relationship with God is better than others and I think that applies to all of those who walk in the faith. This song, as well as others, reminds me of how great He truly is and that my problems are all under control with Him at the helm.
Lyrics:
The splendor of a king
Clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
All the earth rejoice
He wraps Himself in light,
And darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice
How great is our God
Sing with me
How great is our God
And all will see
How great, how great is our God
Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end
The Godhead Three in One
Father, Spirit, Son
Lion and the Lamb
Lion and the Lamb
How great is our God
Sing with me
How great is our God
And all will see
How great, how great is our God
Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God
Name above all names
You are worthy of all praise
And my heart will sing
How great is our God
[3x]
How great is our God
Sing with me
How great is our God
And all will see
How great, how great is our God
