Every Breath You Take was a song that came out during my high school years at a time when I was infatuated with a girl that I thought I would spend the rest of my life with. The song has an almost “stalker” quality to it and that’s the way I felt at the time. It’s funny looking back and thinking that I would have given almost anything to spend my life with someone who, now, I can’t even remember her name (sorry). I have to laugh at my impulsiveness as it still carries over to my adult life and these words by Sting could have almost been sung again when I started dating my wife.
