“Angel”, by Sarah McLachlan is one of her signature songs. It is also associated with animals, as she is an activist.
Angel is such a tender song and I will say that I wished that I had the lighting of the sun without the traffic. Sarah McLachlan is an animal rights activist and this song is forever linked with videos of dogs and cats being cared for by rescue workers and / or shelter people such as myself. It’s hard not to get choked up thinking of this song, at least for me. Sarah McLachlan has a great voice and it truly works for this piece.
