She Devil

“She Devil” Original by Robert Wimer

This song was made about 13 years ago, but with different lyrics. While the words are a culmination of Proverbs 1-7, I’d like to think that it’s some advice a Father would give to his son to keep him out of trouble from “certain” woman. Yeah, they look good, but the check always comes at the end of a meal and you know, somebody’s payin’ the bill.

Lyrics:

Well I remember long ago
a time or two my Father told
the lips of a wicked woman
drip honey

She pretends to be oh so sweet
but watch it son, or you will meet
her darker side, and it will be
Hell on Earth

She devil
tucks her tail up under that dress
I should stay away
but she looks so good I must confess

Listen boy and heed my words
don’t listen to her honey words
don’t follow your eyes, or your heart
don’t bother

Her tongue will lead you to a trap
she’ll say “come on home, my man is gone
lets take our fill of love ’til dawn
come my boy”.

She devil
tucks her tail up under that dress
I should stay away
but she looks so good I must confess

Now in the morning when you wake
arising from the bed you made
that blue-eyed beauty winks and says
good bye son

For I have put down many a man
I’ve led them here with eyes and hands
and all were slain, these strong men
tasted death

She devil
tucks her tail up under that dress
I should stay away
but she looks so good I must confess

Well now I have my own sweet boy
I’ll tell him what I’ve heard before
the lips of a wicked woman
drip honey

She pretends to be oh so sweet
but watch it son, or you will meet
her darker side, and it will be
Hell on Earth
