Rachmaninoff, 'Vocalise'Ok, so this one is different. Rachmaninoff, ‘Vocalise’ was composed to have a soloist perform a vocalise with the orchestra playing in the background. No lyrics, merly a singer with orchestra. Throughout the years, there have been other instruments that have taken the place of the singer, a violin, cello and I even heard an oboe, but Rachmaninoff’s original choice is mine as well.
