This is a song I wrote awhile back.  It has a Southern Gospel feel to it.  This song can be used to uplift a congregation.  Fill Me Up can be done as a solo or with a choir, as I used the church choir in the video below.

Lyrics:

Verse 1

Well Noah was a richous man, known far and wide and throughout the land
He had good favor in God’s sight, so God came down and gave a surprise, he said
“Build me an ark that’s deep and wide and fill the thing up with two of every kind.
Well the people all laughed and shook their heads, but Noah shrugged it off and he might have said…

Chorus

FILL ME UP!…AND NEVER STOP!
Livin’ everyday with my walk with God
Fill me up and never stop
He’s showin’ me the way and I just can’t stop

Verse 2

Now David was a young young man, tending his flocks up and down the land
when he heard a roar and a thunderous shout so he ran to the hilltop and he looked about
He saw big Goliath beatin’ on his chest, scarin’ the Iserialights half to death
but David stood up and the rock took flight, God filled him up to win the fight…
Chorus

FILL ME UP!…AND NEVER STOP!
Livin’ everyday with my walk with God
Fill me up and never stop
He’s showin’ me the way and I just can’t stop

Verse 3

Now Jesus was a great great man, spreadin’ God’s work throughout the land
Some people thought he was nuts, not right in the head, but they raised a few eyebrows when He raised the dead
but he always forgave them, gave hope to the meek, man of the people, no he was not weak
He said, “If your faith is as small as a mustard seed, you can throw that mountain right into the sea…”

Chorus

FILL ME UP!…AND NEVER STOP!
Livin’ everyday with my walk with God
Fill me up and never stop
He’s showin’ me the way and I just can’t stop
