Ok, this is an odd one. This song is heard twice during The Simpsons Movie.
Early in the morning is not a time to do an art song by Ralph Vaughan Williams, but I just loved this piece, especially early in the morning.
I had an audience today when I sang this hymn. Such an appropriate song for Easter.
Admittedly, this is an “early morning” song, as I could not hit those low notes later on in the day.
This hymn seemed appropriate on Good Friday.
I thought of this song as I was going down the steps to the basement and tripped,..like a slinky.
